Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.
The year is counting down fast. It’s almost over! Only three more of these goals posts left in 2024! Well, let’s get down to business.
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My goal for 2024 was 35k Hive, and my stretch goal was 40k. I made both of them! Yay me!
Last week I made 311.56, bringing me to 40,841.970 total Hive Power. That’s 102.1% of my goal!
So yeah, just like last week, there is little to report on this one. I made my goals. I’m still thinking about what my goals for the next year will be. I’ll announce them on the first goals post of next year. A lot of it depends on if HIVE remains cheap. If I hadn’t been able to buy so much HIVE this year, I wouldn’t have even hit my 35k goal. I haven’t added up my actual organic gains for 2024 yet—I won’t do that till I have to report my taxes next year—but just looking at the rough numbers, it looks like I only made about 10k HIVE, meaning at least 10k HIVE came from my own fiat money. Yow!
But anyway, we’ll see. I’ll think about it over the next few weeks and decide what my next goal will be.

Another goal smashed! I am now past 100k PIMP. That leaves only BRO that I am behind my goals on. And I’m unlikely to pass that one in the next 3 weeks.
I’ll also have to consider my Hive-Engine token goals for next year. Maybe RUG or GIFU. I don’t know. If the bull run actually hits Hive, my only goal may be to take profits and actually sell near the top instead of riding it back down as most of us did during the last bull run.

Well, so we ended the week a little below where we started. Not great. Maybe this week will be better!
