Today, I want to talk about a super interesting topic: users or accounts with a lot of HP in their Hive wallets, which we call Whales. In other terms, they are those magical beings who brighten our day when they pass by some of our posts, haha.
Being objective, they are a fundamental part of the blockchain because, just by their presence, they create hope among users that, at some point, they will visit their posts and upvote them. Additionally, their vote carries weight when it comes to supporting proposals within the blockchain.
To put their power into perspective, imagine that 200 users vote for a post, but if a whale votes for it, the value of their vote in the token will be much higher than that of the 200 users combined. It's incredible!
Although Hive has many active users, I dare to say that there are no more than 50 whales actively supporting posts they consider valuable within specific communities.
🐳COULD YOU BECOME A WHALE?
In theory, yes. In reality, it's quite complex. You would need to keep your Hive within the ecosystem and regularly power up to increase your HP with the rewards from your posts.
It requires a lot of discipline, but I dare say that you could at least become more than a dolphin and that, my friends, is already a great achievement!
🐳MY THOUGHTS
If these accounts have so much HP in Hive that their votes are worth $10, $20, or even $30, it means they still believe in the blockchain and support it. I think this is a sign that we, as users, should also support Hive. And considering the current price of the token, imagine what it could be worth when Hive surpasses $1 I have faith!

I'm not telling you not to withdraw your money your time is valuable, and we all have needs, whether as parents, siblings, students, or simply to cover basic expenses. However, I believe that setting aside a small percentage (if possible) to retain some Hive and think long term could be a good idea.
On the other hand, most Hivers come from countries where inflation makes the cost of living difficult, and we rely on the dollar. Hive has been a great help for our lives and future savings, and whales have played a key role in this.

Hoy quiero hablar de un tema súper interesante que son los usuarios o cuentas con mucho pero mucho HP en sus billeteras de hive que llamamos Ballenas o en otros términos son esos seres mágicos que nos alegran el día cuando pasan por algunos de nuestros post jeje.
Siendo objetivo son parte fundamental de la blockchain ya que con solo su presencia crean esperanza frente a los usuarios de que en algún momento pasaran por sus post y se los votaran, como también su voto pesa frente alguna propuesta en la blockchain.
Para que mires en contexto su poder en la blockchain te pueden votar 200 usuarios un post x, pero si alguna ballena te vota su valor en el token va ser mucho mas que las de los 200 usuarios, es increíble.
Aunque en hive hay muchos usuarios activos, me atrevo decir que las ballenas en hive no son mas de 50, las cuales son los que están activamente apoyando los post que ellos consideran buenos dentro de alguna comunidad especifica.
TU PODRÍAS SER UNA BALLENA?
En teoría si en la realidad muy complejo ; claro esta que no tendrías que retirar tus hive del ecosistema y tendrías que estar haciendo periódicamente Hive Power para ir incrementando tu HP con las recompensas de tus post.
Eso si requiere mucha disciplina, pero si me atrevo a decir que serian mas que un delfin y eso amigos ya es un gran logro.
MI PENSAR
Si estas cuentas tienen tanto HP en hive para que un voto valga 10 , 20, 30 dólares significa que aun creen en la blockchain y la apoyan; y creo que eso nos da pie a que nosotros como usuarios para que también debamos apoyar a hive y eso agrégale con el que precio del token actual tiene ese valor no me imagino cuando hive pase del dólar ( tengo fé )
Aquí un estimado de cuenta se debe tener en stake de HP para votar con esa cantidad de poder:
No te digo que no retires tu dinero ya que tu tiempo vale, pero todos tenemos necesidades como padres, hermanos, pagar nuestros estudios, comer , entre otras cosas; pero siento que se podría destinar un pequeño porcentaje ( desde que se pueda ) a retener ese hive y pensar a futuro.
Por otro lado la gran mayoría de hivers son de países donde la inflación no ayuda al costo de vida y nos regimos por el dólar, entonces hive a sido una ayuda para nuestras vidas o para un ahorro a futuro y las ballenas han sido ese impulso.
Aquí algunas cuentas que son ballenas ( no les pongo el @ por respeto ) thecallmedan, apreciador,fermionico, ocd, entre otras, las cuales con algo de dedicacion y trabajo posiblemente pasen por tu blog algún día.
Bueno amigos ese es mi pensar sobre las ballenas y de su importancia en hive; ah te dejo esta pregunta: Que pasaría si las ballenas se fueran de hive?
