Call of Duty MWIII Christmas Event - Santa's Slayground first impressions

It was another Call of Duty Christmas 🎄🔫🎅🏻

The initial luster of COD MWIII has already worn off for me, but that doesn't mean the game is slowing down with me. Season 1 is already underway with plenty of new content. On top of that, we just finished up with a Christmas event called Santa's Slayground.

The Christmas update provided quite a few changes to the multiplay, which is what I'll be focusing on today. There were free unlockable items, some new purchasable operator bundles, and then some other stuff. There were not any new maps, but Shipment and Highrise both were done up to be in the Christmas spirit. We got Hangover aka holiday Highrise and Shipmas, which of course is a winter Shipment map.

On top of that, there was a snowfight mode added. In this mode, you are equipped with nothing but snowballs to throw at other players. It felt a lot like a throwing knife, but it took more than one shot to kill someone.

Overall, this was a pretty cool update. I didn't spend too much time with it as it came during a busy time of the year for me. I did manage to experiment with all of the new modes though. You can see for yourself in my gameplay video today. Enjoy!

It's always a banger when games have christmas themed events or even halloween themed events incorpirated into the games! Rust always use to do that! Was fun shit!!

It is for sure! A lot more you can do with the theme!!

In Rust which is an open world game if you're not familiar.... well they had these candy trail hunts and every night cycle in the game you have to go out in the forests to scavenge the "sweets" and as soon as you really get comfortable, NPC's jumps out of the bushes to murder you... they also droppped loot...was a fun event because no one really focused and watched out for players...damn some people got shredded bad 🤣 in search of fun.

See I thought you were talking about the MWIII map Rust. Yes I've heard of the game Rust, but never did play it. That sounds like a cool event, frustrating but fun.
