For me it was difficult to get better positions, I discovered the playing schedule of 70% of players who are active, so it's out of my fun hours so I couldn't move much in the ranking ^^
Now that the season is over many things can happen, new strategies can emerge, or everything can go back to calm, I don't know!
At the moment I bought missiles to fight for the tokens that are collected in the tracks, at the beginning they took everything from me but that has changed ! Now I have my weapons ready for whoever wants to take all the tokens must know that he will not get them easy, he will have to fight for them ^^
I tried to fight the last 6h left in the game but I couldn't find anyone to connect to play :b :b
Anyway I finished season #29 with 10283 TOKEN COLONy from the Orbital table plus 9390 COLONY from the leaderboard, for sure if I had more players in my time zone I would be in another position or maybe not, the only thing I have clear is that this season #30 can expect many new things and mechanics, plus the team is having in sight some changes.
Now running all day will be difficult with the change of gasoline, so we must take into account all this when going to the races, I have no idea if the players will be aggressive or will be peaceful these new seasons, what will be difficult is to see the bot in the top positions, I have that hope :b
Anyway, just start the new season and enjoy a game that promises a lot within HIVE and who knows maybe in other networks, only time will tell =^^=
