The Bible teaches us that we should teach our children the ways of God. That was the commandment when God gave the children of Israel the law. He told them to teach it to their children. We must show our children what we have heard and learnt from the Lord so that they will not depart from the way of God.
The faith that we have is based on the Word of God. We are believers in Jesus Christ. So, we must ensure that our children uphold the same tenets of faith. They must come to understand what God wants and what God doesn't like. Our children must grow with the fear of God. Our children must possess the love of God.
When our children know God, their future will be secured. They will love God and keep his commandments. That will make them grow in the fear of God. Children who know and fear God will become great blessings to the nation. Let us do everything within our reach to show our children the ways of God.
