Spokojna sobota w rodzinnym gronie. Wieczorem zdecydowałem się wyjść pobiegać, w kwietniu dość mozolnie zbieram biegowe kilometry. Co prawda treningi są dłuższe, ale przerwy między dniami biegowymi są dłuższe. Ruszyłem na dziesięciokilometrową trasę w stronę Grand Large, ale miałem w głowie alternatywny plan, gdybym na pierwszych trzech kilometrach miał jakieś kłopoty. Na szczęście nie było żadnych kłopotów, a po przebiegnięciu tunelem na drugą stronę N6 wiedziałem, że nie mam już odwrotu.

[ENG] A quiet Saturday with the family. In the evening I decided to go out for a run, I have been accumulating running kilometres quite strenuously in April. Admittedly, the workouts are longer, but the breaks between running days are longer. I set off on the ten-kilometre route towards the Grand Large, but had an alternative plan in mind if I had any trouble in the first three kilometres. Fortunately there was no trouble, and after running through the tunnel to the other side of the N6 I knew I had no turning back.

Czułem się dobrze, fajna pogoda, dość ciepło i prawie bezwietrznie. Kiedy zbliżałem się do Grand Large, mijałem kilku biegaczy, którzy jak ja postanowili skorzystać z wolnego sobotniego popołudnia. Dopiero w domu, kiedy przeglądałem i analizowałem dane na STRAVA, zauważyłem, że tę samą trasę zrobiłem dokładnie trzy miesiące temu. Wtedy osiągnąłem średni czas 6:09 min/km, a wczoraj było to 5:52 min/km, oznacza to, że poprawiłem tempo biegu o 17 sekund. Czy mogło być jeszcze lepiej? Myślę, że tak. Muszę nad tym popracować.

[ENG] I was feeling good, cool weather, quite warm and almost no wind. As I approached the Grand Large, I passed several runners who, like me, had decided to take advantage of a slow Saturday afternoon. It was only at home, when I was reviewing and analysing the data on STRAVA, that I noticed that I had done the same route exactly three months ago. Back then I achieved an average time of 6:09 min/km and yesterday it was 5:52 min/km, meaning I improved my running pace by 17 seconds. Could it have been even better? I think yes. I need to work on it.
