Introduction
Hey all, I hope all of you are doing great thus far on Labour Day. I am still catching up on some old brawls that I missed out earlier so it will be a chase for me to get up to date. Thank you for walking alongside me as I look through the matches.
Let's get right on into the various matches.
Brawl Matches
Recently I have been cycling between both wild and modern fray. Haven't found what truly works for me so I will continue tinkering and see how each one works out. So let's dive in to the matches I had and do some reflections on how I can do better for next brawl.
Match 1:

Comment: What I am seeing right now is a very established lineup that I am facing. While I did have double martyr cards selected with intent to boost Quora, opponent's lineup had more consideration and also more balanced than my single dimension. I thought I would lost the match to a much stronger opponent, but surprisingly, I manage to win. Phew really thankful.
Match 2:
https://splinterlands.com/battle/sm_EIHHfmK1omBVUUlUzoAx?ref=bossingclint
Comment: Still able to start Quora and hopefully it is enough to help me pull through with the various other cards in the lineup to press in from the front. Opponent Katrelba on fire and taking out alot of my cards faster from the back and I cannot match up. Match lost plus there is reflect magic which hurt Quora more.
Match 3:
https://splinterlands.com/battle/sm_zFr2wvGm3gxrQJijE4r5?ref=bossingclint
Comment: This is a match with the limited collection that I have, brute force pieced up. Not a good idea, because I totally get steam rolled. Makeshift is not a good idea, need more collection built up. Match lost.
Match 4:
https://splinterlands.com/battle/sm_i4nqcNdsOGhjKgRUyIaz?ref=bossingclint
Comment: I am restricted from using Quora, so instead I put up a water splinter squad with marksrat in order to boost adjacent cards. While this is what I had prepared, Quora's growth is just too much to handle, it is not easy to win such a lineup.
Match 5:
https://splinterlands.com/battle/sm_KoEzTx1S4YWP8qXClaR3?ref=bossingclint
Remarks: I attempted to use Oshannus as the main attacker but when I saw what my opponent fielded in terms of attackers. This will be tough because my cards might not be able to handle. My Gladius card is not strong enough and I lost the match.
Match 6:
https://splinterlands.com/battle/sm_oG9jK9tQh889uvXOQuOk?ref=bossingclint
Remarks: Wow, first time seeing this. This likely is a card that is interesting as it gives poison to the full lineup. I have a fielded Commander Slade and 3 other big range hitters to see how we can overpower my opponent. Poison was too much for me and opponent had healing and out last my lineup.
Match 7:
https://splinterlands.com/battle/sm_C3cGzcHcUblPDtH8xhHJ?ref=bossingclint
Remarks: I have quite a fair bit of my bigger melee attackers together with my big magic hitters. While I did have a good mix of card that is capable, opponent's front line is too massive for me and I didn't manage overturn the outcome.
Brawl Results
I am assigned only 7 matches for this brawl of which I win only 1 out of the 7 matches with 2 additional free win from missing frays from other guild not filling up and 0 fled opponent. Another bad run for me. Quite disappointed with the result as I didn't manage to clock enough wins.
With just 2 of us, we came in last in this brawl once again. Tough luck and tough matches. Need to improve and need more people.
Closing
We are falling apart and in deep need of more players and more cards to be viable. Hopefully we can get more in the next one.
See you next time when the new brawl ends!
