It is Sunday, the day that the Lord rested, and our water is out. It is 35° Celcius (95° Fahrenheit) and we have not had water since 7:30 this morning; it is now 9:30 PM. We have not been able to wash dishes, shower, or flush the toilet the entire day. Five people live in this apartment.
It's just -- I ask for so little, do you know what I mean? 😅 I go into work, I do my part, I am present with two little girls all day every day and raise them to be well adjusted individuals... After doing laundry last night, I made sure my husband received the fresh, toasty warm towel after our shower, while I got the one that smelled of piss and was covered in hair.
My one constant for all of this -- my one TREAT, if you will -- has always been rewarding myself with a simple shower. It is literally the only space that I get to myself in this apartment, the only time I have to relax. I do not even get one to myself because there would be no one to watch the girls, so it has been a shower for 3 for over a year!
It is the ONLY time I get to myself -- and the water has been out all day lol.
Of course, just being a simple tenant, I have no idea what the issue could be. All I know is that it is a Sunday, which means it must be a real problem to make an unscheduled appointment with a plumber. And did I mention it's 35° Celcius? 🥴 So I know that they wouldn't turn off the water if it wasn't an emergency.

All that I have left is prayer! 🙏 So I beg that all of you send that simple thought our way: water water WATER!! 🚿🙏 I need this relief, and I do not want to have to wait until tomorrow for it... Please send prayers that the water will turn on shortly... It would be a great surprise to find after the struggle of getting these girls to bed! 🥹 Please, Heavenly Father, hear this prayer!! 🙏🙏🙏
I will update you all on the water status soon! Thank you so much in the meantime, and thank you for reading 🙇♀️
