Hello! This post is for Spliterlands Social Media Challenge. In this post, I will be talking about my future land plans, and share my current status on how much I completed it. I really believe that Land in Splinterlands can be a very good feature that can be expanded a lot, while also being fun and rewardable in the long run. To do this, I was expanding my Land collection, starting just recently.
Current Status
Plots Information:
Plots | Active Plots | Totems | Staked DEC |
---|---|---|---|
5 | 3 | 0 | 14,891 (100%) |
As a non-whale and small spender in game, I currently only have 5 Natural Common plots, which was gathered one by one at a very slow pace. I kind of regret some purchases, especially when land were around $30 per plot, but I was still able to get some plot around $10~13.
I have 3 active plots working, and 0 extra totems & Runis at all. I also have around 15K staked DEC. Those DEC staking requirements are VERY expensive. (it costs another whole plot)
Plot Distribution
Thalos (46) | Val De Lun (69) | Westerbrau (79) | Warken Reeve (112) |
---|---|---|---|
1 (1 active) | 1 (0 active) | 1 (0 active) | 2 (2 active) |
Since I bought the lowest available plots when I was able to do so, my plot distribution is not so great. I have 2 plots in 112, but they are all non-grains. Meanwhile, I have a grain plot at 46, but there aren't any great sales there atm.
Production Per Hour:
Grain | Wood | Stone |
---|---|---|
7500 PP | 1718 PP | 3613 PP |
135.0 / HR | 7.735 / HR | 6.504 / HR |
For production, I am relying heavily on Grain, with 7500 PP, which is higher then the rest. It generates 135 Grain Per Hour, after tax. For the others, I am not that much onto it currently. For Wood, it is 1.7K PP, and Stone has 3.6K PP.
Mainly, I am keeping my Grain, and selling Stone and a bit of Wood. Since Stone price is high right now, I am selling most of it, while I am stacking some Wood for the future.
Production Per Hour (DEC Value):
Grain | Wood | Stone |
---|---|---|
1.074 DEC / HR | 0.187 DEC / HR | 0.775 DEC / HR |
If we look at this, it shows that Stone is very good way of getting DEC, as it generates almost similar amount as Grain does with half PP. Wood falls in the middle of how effective it is to produce DEC, so I just have little card staked on it, as grain is required for self sufficiency. However, I am also thinking to just focus heavily on Stone, as I still have sufficient Grain for now.
Total Revenue:
Hourly DEC (exclude Grain) | Daily DEC | Daily Rentals | Total Net |
---|---|---|---|
0.962 DEC | 23.088 DEC | -15.900 DEC | +7.188 DEC / Day |
My hourly DEC generated is 0.962 DEC, excluding grain. This may be small, but keep in mind that it is hourly. Daily I earn a little bit more than 23 DEC. That is sufficient to cover my Daily Rental Fee, which is 15.9. I am currently renting lots of ABU cards, as it just have better efficiency when staking DEC for that plot. It might be just better to buy max Chaos, but I can't afford the 10K DEC staking requirement, even for 1 card.
This concludes for +7 DEC per day. That might seem bad, but if I stake more cards when I get that DEC for Staking, it would go up.
Resource Sustainability (All Plots Combined):
Producing Grain | Required Grain (Rounded) | Producing - Required Grain | Sustainable? |
---|---|---|---|
135 Grain / HR | 117 Grain / HR | +18 Grain/ HR | Yes |
Last chart here, but it is important for me, which is Sustainability. You might think that I have too few plots to consider sustainability, but it is important when considering my future plans below. I currently produce 135 Grain, and I consume around 117 Grain Per Hour. This leaves me with +18 Grain per hour. Of course, grain is currently very cheap when you buy it with DEC. But, this also means that I don't need to buy Grain.
Future Plans
For my Future Plans, I have lots of them. The current final goal for me is to have a functioning (50%+ sustainable) Aura Plot, as of Land 1.75. Of course, this would be very hard to achieve, and it can change depending on the situation, as I currently have 0 Research and need 2 more plots(Iron, Magical). Because of this, I got some mini roadmap for me to achieve this goal.
- Buy an Iron Plot and a Research Plot. Preferably, high rarity is good. (if price is reasonable)
- Reach 10K Research
- Start Producing Aura, and potions & others.
Side goals:
- 100K Dec staked / 20K SPS staked
- 50%+ card owned by me
- Use Totems for +10% (Runi too expensive!)
These are my current goal and plan for 2025. It might be hard as a person that doesn't have that much DEC. Luckily, I was able to find out some cheap plots currently on market that would help me.
$$$ Needed
$10 (2 Cores) + $58 (2 Plots, Iron and Magical) + ~$10~ (Staking) + Rent (cards) =
$78 + $0.01 / Day
That's a lot!
Hopefully I would be able to achieve this soon.
Market
Finally, I will look (monitor) some land price of certain kinds of plots that I really want.
#79
The first is plots from 79. I only have a wood plot there, but it would be nice to have another at the same one. The price is also around the cheap side, with only $15.
#112
Next is from territory 112. I also don't have grain plot here, but I have 2 other plots. The price is kind of expensive, though.
Iron
There is an abundance of Iron (ore) plots, at the price of $17~$19. That is $5 expensive then the floor. But, those plots are mostly on #39 and #85, which are a good thing. Although these are also commons, the Rare Irons cost $35! That is expensive than Common+Common Totem, so I would prefer to buy this instead.
Magic
Last, I will look at the magical plot, where I would be getting Research and Aura in the end. The starting price is $37, though. This would mean that I would need some time to actually be able to buy those. I might even have to sell some cards, though. But, the plots are mostly in #39 and #85 again. And, there are large quantities of it, so I can take my time slow when trying to buy these.
Conclusion
And that is all for today! If you enjoyed this land post, please leave a comment down below!
