Yesterday was a very special day for us as a family and as a church. It was Prophet Simon Thomas’s birthday, and we all came together to celebrate a man who has truly been a blessing to so many lives.
Usually, on Tuesdays, we gather for our midweek service; a time to pray, worship, and study God’s word together. But yesterday was different. Unknown to Prophet Simon Thomas, we had all planned a surprise birthday celebration for him. The excitement and joy in the air were almost impossible to hide.
When he arrived and saw the decorations, the cake, and all the happy faces waiting to surprise him, his expression was priceless. You could see genuine surprise and deep gratitude written all over his face. Everyone cheered and sang birthday songs, and there was so much laughter and heartfelt joy.
But what touched me the most was that even though it was meant to be a party to celebrate him, Prophet Simon Thomas did not forget his first calling to teach and guide us in the word of God. In the middle of the celebration, he took time to share a powerful message with us. He reminded us about God’s love, faithfulness, and the importance of living a life that reflects Christ every single day.
That moment showed me once again the kind of humble and devoted leader he is. He always puts God first, no matter the occasion. Even on his special day, he chose to pour into our lives, encouraging and strengthening us spiritually.
After the message, we continued with the celebration. There was plenty of food, music, dancing, and of course, prayers for him. People took turns to share testimonies and express how Prophet Simon Thomas has impacted their lives. You could feel the deep love , respect and respect everyone has for him.
It was more than just a birthday party; it was a beautiful gathering of grateful hearts honoring a man who continues to serve God faithfully. I left the church yesterday feeling inspired, joyful, and thankful to be part of such a loving family in Christ.
Happy birthday once again to Prophet Simon Thomas! May God continue to strengthen, guide, and bless him richly in all he does.
