Blind with love.
Friends of Hive Pets, I hope I am welcomed into this beautiful community where we love animals. Today, as my first post, I would like to share with you the story of this beautiful little cat named "Dark."
As her name suggests, she is as amazing as the night and ironically has flashes of light in her fur that make her even more special.
Dark is a little cat with a unique condition. She was born with the ability to dilate her pupils so much and to be so expressive in her way of looking at life that her body couldn’t handle such originality, and her skin grew jealous of her eyes and covered them with darkness. Yes, we cannot see her beautiful eyes, somewhere between green and brown, but she is even more visible than if her eyes were normal.
She is very affectionate and intelligent. She has navigated the world through her senses, with her hearing playing the leading role in her life. On some occasions, miraculously, we can glimpse something hidden behind her gaze, but even when she defies expectations, she leaves me blind with love.
I hope you enjoyed Dark’s story, and I encourage you to be more like her—who, despite being a phenomenon to many and having limitations, has managed to move forward and surpass what is expected of an average little animal.
