As usual, today was the Hive power-up day, and I participated with a huge power-up today. Now I think this is the opportunity to increase the Hive power, and that's why I wanted to keep some liquid and, at the same time, power up a lot of Hive. This increases my overall Hive power and, at the same time, it also increases my chance of getting more Curation rewards. I powered up 2000 Hive power on the occasion of HPUD.
Most of this Hive is coming from my secondary account, where I have been gradually transferring it to the main account. This will allow me to maintain it in one place, which will be more efficient. Additionally, having enough liquid Hive at the right time will also be beneficial. The price of Hive is pretty much stable at around 25 cents right now. It is not moving above that, and there have been no swing trade opportunities for me.
The author's rewards were pretty much consistent, and even though I missed writing a few days in the last month, the rewards were great for the days I was contributing. I don't know how much APR I'm getting, but it is also good for the curation rewards and that's also a good income that can be received passively. The idea is to keep going this way so that one fine day, when the price of Hive is very good, the value of my account will also be very good. That's the intention of accumulating lots of Hive whenever I can. Even if the price of Hive reaches 50 cents, the value would double.
Above are the stats from my second account, which mostly gives witness rewards and HBD interest. For the past few months, I have been holding some HBD in that account, and that is generating some APR. The witness rewards are pretty much covering the cost of running the witness account. There is no change in the position of my witness. I'm continuing to push some more funds to HBD savings so that whenever I have a need, I can use them.
