Saludos estimados amigos de Loving Hive. Creo que a estas alturas tengo mucho que hablar y agradecer a Hive. Me parece que es el espacio adecuado para dar a conocer mis percepciones de lo que he vivido en Hive y también que mi experiencia pueda servir a otros, quizá nuevos usuarios, porque es obvio que hay miles de personas con mucho más tiempo que yo en Hive y con más historias y puntos de vista que contar de la plataforma.
Quiero dar un punto de vista generalizado de lo que implica crear contenido en Hive de la manera más sincera y desde mi propia experiencia. Para comenzar, tengo muy claro que crear contenido en Hive no me hará rico, por lo menos no de la noche a la mañana, y lamentablemente muchos se pierden oportunidades como las que brinda Hive precisamente por eso: buscar riquezas. En este orden de ideas, lo que sí puedo expresar es que, dependiendo de tu percepción hacia lo que buscas, vas a encontrar un lugar con propósito en Hive. Cuando me refiero a un lugar con propósito, no es más que un sitio productivo en todos los sentidos, como por ejemplo: amistades, comunidad, educación sobre finanzas, conocimientos a través de otros, y mucho más. Pero también hay un propósito que logramos entender, y esto sucede cuando ya tenemos algún tiempo en la plataforma.
Greetings dear friends of Loving Hive. I think at this point I have a lot to talk about and thank Hive. It seems to me that this is the right space to share my perceptions of what I have experienced in Hive and also that my experience can be useful to others, perhaps new users, because it is obvious that there are thousands of people with much more time than me in Hive and with more stories and views to tell about the platform.
I want to give a generalized view of what is involved in creating content on Hive in the most honest way and from my own experience. To begin with, I am very clear that creating content on Hive will not make me rich, at least not overnight, and unfortunately many miss out on opportunities such as those provided by Hive precisely because of that: seeking riches. In this order of ideas, what I can say is that, depending on your perception of what you are looking for, you will find a purposeful place in Hive. When I refer to a purposeful place, it is nothing more than a place that is productive in every way, such as: friendships, community, financial education, knowledge through others, and much more. But there is also a purpose that we get to understand, and this happens when we already have some time on the platform.
Un propósito encontrado sin querer queriendo | A purpose found inadvertently
Recuerdo que cuando inicié en Hive, me costó un poco adaptarme a la temática de las comunidades, pero con el paso del tiempo entendí algo muy importante y creo que es lo más valioso en una plataforma para crear contenidos: esta es la diversificación de contenidos. Es decir, comunidades para cada cosa. Nada mejor que el orden. Cuando logré adaptarme, entendí que era la mejor solución para explorar un sinfín de nichos, no solo para consumir contenido, sino para alojar los míos, y esto hace que todo sea más fácil de lo que pensamos. Ya hemos aclarado el tema logístico. Ahora, ¿qué pasa con el tema financiero? ¿Será que Hive brinda oportunidades, incluso de resolver problemas económicos que consideras básicos? Pero cuando logramos ver más allá, nos damos cuenta de que Hive puede ser tu segundo trabajo.
I remember that when I started in Hive, it took me a while to adapt to the theme of the communities, but over time I understood something very important and I think it is the most valuable thing in a platform to create content: this is the diversification of content. That is to say, communities for everything. Nothing better than order. When I managed to adapt, I understood that it was the best solution to explore a myriad of niches, not only to consume content, but to host my own, and this makes everything easier than we thought. We've already cleared up the logistical issue. Now, what about the financial issue, could it be that Hive provides opportunities, even to solve economic problems that you consider basic? But when we look beyond that, we realize that Hive can be your second job.
¿Por qué valoro tanto a Hive y lo considero mi otro trabajo? | Why do I value Hive so much and consider it my other job?
La respuesta es fácil y sencilla: lo considero mi otro trabajo porque me da un ingreso extra. Claro, corto y preciso, pero detrás de mi amor por Hive hay una historia que ni yo me imaginé por un largo tiempo. De hecho, cuando esto sucedió, no había sacado ni un peso de mis ganancias. Yo antes vivía en condición de arriendo aquí en Colombia. Así que, cierto día, decidimos entre mi esposa y yo comprar un terreno. Luego, poco a poco, con el esfuerzo de los dos, fuimos construyendo. De hecho, todo el proceso de construcción de mi casa está documentado en Hive y aún sigo haciendo cosas y las sigo compartiendo.Entonces, cierto día estuvimos en un apuro, ya que la casa donde vivíamos arrendados debíamos entregarla en una fecha límite, ni un día más ni un día menos. A tan solo una semana de mudarnos a nuestra casa, le faltaba la mitad del techo, no teníamos bombona para el gas, faltaba el juego de baño completo, no teníamos piso, ni puerta principal, y también faltaba el sistema eléctrico. Se pueden imaginar todo esto a tan solo una semana de mudarnos.
Allí fue donde Hive se convirtió en propósito. Recuerdo que tenía mis ganancias intactas de casi dos años creando contenido. Solo anteriormente había sacado algo de mis ganancias líquidas para pagar algo de mano de obra en la construcción, pero fue poco para lo que tenía allí ahorrado. Entonces fui y retiré esas ganancias que tenía acumuladas, que de hecho casi las tenía multiplicadas al doble porque en ese tiempo aproveché algunos momentos de subida del Hive y, cuando bajaba, compraba más. De esta manera, queridos amigos, logré comprar todo eso que faltaba para mi casa. Recuerdo que un 7 de julio del año 2024 pasé mi primera noche en mi casa propia. Qué felicidad tan grande sentí ese día. Fue una de las noches más emocionantes y un despertar al día siguiente con un respiro profundo que decía: “Estoy en mi casa, lo logramos”.
The answer is easy and simple: I consider it my other job because it gives me an extra income. Clear, short and precise, but behind my love for Hive there is a story that even I didn't imagine for a long time. In fact, when this happened, I hadn't taken a single peso out of my earnings. I used to live as a renter here in Colombia. So, one day, my wife and I decided to buy a piece of land. Then, little by little, with the effort of both of us, we built. In fact, the whole process of building my house is documented in Hive and I am still making things and sharing them. Then, one day we were in a hurry, since the house we were renting had to be delivered on a deadline, not a day more and not a day less. Just a week after moving into our house, half of the roof was missing, we had no gas tank, the complete bathroom set was missing, we had no floor, no front door, and the electrical system was missing. You can imagine all this just a week after moving in.
That's where Hive became purposeful. I remember I had my earnings intact from almost two years of creating content. I had only previously taken out some of my liquid earnings to pay for some construction labor, but it was little for what I had saved there. So I went and withdrew those earnings I had accumulated, which in fact I had almost doubled because during that time I took advantage of some upward moments in the Hive and, when it went down, I bought more. In this way, dear friends, I managed to buy all that was missing for my house. I remember that on July 7, 2024, I spent my first night in my own house. What a great happiness I felt that day. It was one of the most exciting nights and I woke up the next day with a deep breath that said: “I am in my house, we made it”.
Desde esa vez entendí que Hive tiene mucho para ofrecerte. Todo depende de tu visión y tu compromiso. Hay muchos que tienen otros propósitos y otra visión, como por ejemplo, crear contenido para entretenerse, explorar nuevas cosas y disfrutar sus ganancias bien merecidas por sus contenidos en cosas pequeñas como pasear, comerse un helado, una pizza, comprar un par de zapatos o algo así, y también hay otros que, aunque suene increíble, las ganancias líquidas de una semana creando contenido, que puede ser un aproximado de 10 o 15 dólares (ojo, solo por poner un ejemplo), esto les sirve para cosas muy significativas, como comprar medicinas. Es por esto que Hive tiene un valor muy grande, porque cada mínimo centavo, con el paso del tiempo, puede resolverte un problema grande como me lo resolvió a mí.
Since that time I understood that Hive has a lot to offer you. It all depends on your vision and commitment. There are many who have other purposes and other vision, for example, create content to entertain themselves, explore new things and enjoy their well-deserved earnings for their content in small things like taking a walk, eating an ice cream, a pizza, buying a pair of shoes or something like that, and there are others who, although it sounds incredible, the liquid earnings of a week creating content, which can be an approximate of 10 or 15 dollars (eye, just to give an example), this serves them for very significant things, like buying medicines. This is why Hive has a great value, because every penny, with the passage of time, can solve a big problem as it solved it for me.
