This is brilliant ! It could almost be a tale from a place called Ravenblack City that I used to haunt many years ago.....

Cheers ! Ravenblack itself was a MMORG themed on a dark city where all the players were the vampires infesting it. The game was a very simple grid-based affair, but it spawned a huge amount of roleplay and lore as the characters formed clans, alliances and enmities. Oddly enough, the front my character used was "Venn Pharmaceuticals" - they worked a lot of night shifts 😀

I don't know much about games, so I find the explanation of the reference interesting.
