The Rippaverse Comics
I recieved the Rippazine #3, a variety book from the Rippaverse. The 16-page sci-fi vignette, "Dirty Deeds" written by Carrow Brown and illustrated by Evan Scale, was absolutely fantastic. You may read the brief review I wrote for it here.
Eric July's Rippaverse Comics are on pace for a banner year, and will likely set company bests for total books sold before the end of June. Rippaverse Comics announced that the preorder campagin for Yaira #3 from the Soska Sisters will launch Monday, April 21. You can see the teaser video here. With the popularity of the Yaira graphic novels, Rippaverse is almost certain to hit the $2,000,0000 in sales mark by Monday evening. Counting only preorders from collection campaigns, the Rippaverse has already sold almost 55,000 books in 2025.

Comicsgate
Comicsgate campaigns finally crossed the $500,000 this week, on the strength of Ethan Van Sciver's "2025 ALL CAPS and CYBERFROG MERCH!" clothing campaign which raised a bit approximately $30,000 this week. Comicsgate campaigns combined raised approximately $46,000 this week - bringing the year to to date funding to ~$508,322. As of April 18, 2025 no Comicsgate campaign on Indiegogo has cracked the $100,000 threshold. Ethan Van Sciver suggested that some of his campaigns that included toys may see further delays, in light of the tariffs that have been imposed on China recently by President Trump.

Irene Strychalski "Renie" released a sign up page for on the Indiegogo platform for her graphic novel Fiendish #3. Fiendish 2 raised $200,798 from 2,505 backers in a 2022 campaign on Indiegogo.
It will be interesting to see if Renie can repeat the success of the previous installements.
Kamen America Alpha by Tim Lim and Mark Pellegrini, rose to the the number 3 spot by backers, and number 5 spot by total funding on Kickstarter. This installment in the Kamen America series is presented in a classic manga format with right to left panel layout.
The @hive.pizza Community is launching "Moon Game" this Saturday - April 18. Moon Game is a customized version of OGame, a resource management and space exploration/combat game.
