Llevamos vidas tan atareadas que es complicado hacer planes con buenos amigos para pasarla bien. Pese a lo difícil que es reunir a familiares y amigos para disfrutar y pasar un día diferente lo logramos. Conozco varias familias que me conocen desde muy niña y aunque no somos parientes consanguíneos mi cariño por ellos es como si lo fueran.
Planificamos una reunión para encontrarnos y tener un rato de esparcimiento. Pude ver a muchos de mis amigos que tenía tiempo sin verlos y créanme que disfrutamos muchísimo.
We lead such busy lives that it is difficult to make plans with good friends to have a good time. Despite how difficult it is to get family and friends together to enjoy and spend a different kind of day, we manage to do it. I know several families who have known me since I was a child and although we are not blood relatives my affection for them is as if they were.
We planned a reunion to get together and have some fun. I was able to see many of my friends that I had not seen for a long time and believe me we enjoyed it very much.
No era un día feriado ni mucho menos, siempre he considerado que cada día es un regalo y si se presenta la oportunidad hay que aprovecharlo con las personas que amamos. Este día en particular fue muy bonito porque nos reunimos contra viento y marea. Había un salón de fiestas que nos alquilaron por un precio accesible y entre todos los cancelamos, así que pudimos asistir la gran mayoría que teníamos tiempo sin esparcirnos.
It was not a holiday by any means, I have always considered that every day is a gift and if the opportunity presents itself we should take advantage of it with the people we love. This particular day was very nice because we got together against all odds. There was a party room that we rented for an affordable price and between all of us we canceled, so we could attend the vast majority that we had time without spreading out.
Me dio tanta alegría ver amigas que tenía tiempo sin ver, compartimos mucho y tratamos de actualizarnos en pocos minutos porque la verdad es que yo deseaba compartir con todos, por lo tanto, hablé poco con cada familia para poder compartir con todos y luego bailar hasta más no poder porque esto me encanta.
Dos de mis amigas acababan de llegar de viaje y me contaron de forma muy resumida cómo les había ido, espero verlas pronto para que continúen contándome sus anécdotas de viaje con calma y muchos detalles. Eso será otro encuentro pero pequeño, una cena de chicas. Ya que estábamos en el salón de fiestas había que aprovecharlo al máximo.
I was so happy to see friends that I had not seen for a long time, we shared a lot and tried to update each other in a few minutes because the truth is that I wanted to share with everyone, therefore, I spoke a little with each family to be able to share with everyone and then dance to the max because I love this.
Two of my friends had just arrived from their trip and they told me very briefly how it went, I hope to see them soon so they can continue to tell me their travel anecdotes calmly and in detail. That will be another meeting but a small one, a girls' dinner. Since we were in the party room we had to make the most of it.
Para este encuentro espectacular creamos un grupo por WhatsApp en el que se iban afinando los detalles. A unas amigas se les ocurrió que hiciéramos una fiesta inspirada en una granja y nos sugirieron que asistiéramos con alguna indumentaria relacionada con el llano o una granja. La mayoría se llevo camisas de cuadritos y botas largas, yo no encontré una camisa con ese estilo pero llevé mis botas y aunque no son tan largas cumplieron con el cometido.
For this spectacular gathering we created a WhatsApp group where we were fine-tuning the details. Some friends came up with the idea of having a party inspired by a farm and suggested that we wear some clothing related to the plains or a farm. Most of them wore plaid shirts and long boots, I couldn't find a shirt with that style but I wore my boots and even though they are not that long they did the job.
En nuestra fiesta no faltó nada. Hubo buena música, buenos bailarines y comida. Todo lo que amerita un buen entretenimiento, lo tuvimos. Lo que más me gustó es que asistieron familias completas; padres e hijos, así que tanto niños, jóvenes, adultos y personas mayores disfrutamos. Algunos o mejor dicho, la mayoría bailamos pero un pequeño grupo no bailo, sin embargo, disfrutaban al vernos bailar. Es calidad cuando todos los presentes pueden sonreír y evocar con su mirada la alegría de estar juntos y compartir.
Our party lacked nothing. There was good music, good dancers and food. Everything that merits a good entertainment, we had it. What I liked the most is that there were complete families in attendance; parents and children, so children, young people, adults and seniors all enjoyed themselves. Some or rather, most of us danced but a small group did not dance, however, they enjoyed watching us dance. It is quality when everyone present can smile and evoke with their eyes the joy of being together and sharing.
Deseo que una ocasión como esta se repita pronto. Me cansé de tanto bailar y me reí mucho con mis amigos. Fue un día genial en el que los lazos de amistad se fortalecieron y quedará como un bonito recuerdo en la memoria de cada uno de los que estuvimos presentes. Gracias a Dios Todopoderoso que nos regala momentos maravillosos.
I wish that an occasion like this will be repeated soon. I got tired of dancing and laughed a lot with my friends. It was a great day in which the bonds of friendship were strengthened and it will remain as a beautiful memory in the memory of each one of us who were present. Thanks to God Almighty who gives us wonderful moments.
