I can’t believe it’s 5 days into the year, but I’m already screaming, “What a year?” So you all remember when my phone got faulty right after I got to 6000 HP? Yeah. It was a screen problem, so I fixed it, and then it got back to working, but the person I bought the phone from advised me to just change my phone.
Over here in my country, most people prefer using iOS devices because when you want to change it, you don’t have to throw the whole thing away. You can just swap it for a new one. And this entirely depends on the kind of phone you have. If your phone is okay and doesn’t have any damage and also has its original parts intact, then you can just top up with a little money.
But if your phone is damaged and you’ve changed so many parts, then the smartest thing to do in that moment is to sell it and then top up to get a new phone. This is something most people don’t know, so they just swap even very old and damaged phones. When you swap old and damaged phones, you end up paying so much as compared to when you sell your old phone and top up.
Now that I’m done with the phone analysis, let me get right into my story. So the person I bought the phone from is actually my brother’s friend. At first, I used to buy phones from someone else, but after my brother introduced me to this person, I just switched to him.

When I got my phone somewhere last year, there were many red flags that I shouldn’t have ignored. The battery was not so strong and the phone would just overheat anywhere and anyhow. I told him, but he said it was normal with the kind of phone I got. Actually, at first, I was made to change my charger, and then he later said that was how the phone was.
This year, I planned on changing my phone and so since my phone isn’t damaged, I decided to just sell it before topping up to buy a new one. That was when I got the shock of my life. So the person I’ve been trusting all this while actually cheated me. He sold the phone to me at an outrageous price, he gave me a not-so-good phone and the worst part? When I went to fix my screen, he gave me a fake screen.
You can imagine my shock finding out I switched from my phone dealer to the worst thing ever. I’m at a point where these things just hurt me because each day, it seems like humanity is depleting and more people are losing faith. I always say everyone is struggling with someone, so wherever you find yourself, just try your best to make someone’s life a little easier (even if you sell phones).
