Hello, coffee lovers around the world.
I rarely sit alone in a coffee shop. I usually prefer to do it with one or more people.
However, we all have those days when we want to be alone with our thoughts and feel like we're bad company for others.
This is the coffee shop where I sat one of those days.

It's the coffee shop, but not the day. That day I wasn't feeling well or in the mood for anything. I just sat down, ordered a coffee, and drank it in silence.

I remember having an argument at work. They hadn't approved a project I proposed that would have been beneficial for the community (later they approved it and realized I was right).

So I left upset and disappointed and decided to sit in this coffee shop, and it was the best thing I did. While I waited for my coffee, I watched people go by.

This coffee shop, for some reason, isn't one of the busiest in town. It almost always has several empty tables. That was one of the reasons I decided to come here.

Also, its coffee menu isn't the most extensive. However, it's delicious.

However, the view of the church square and the park is quite beautiful and relaxing.

Equally relaxing is watching people walk by outside the café.
While I drank my coffee and considered my next steps, I focused on watching the people go by, and that's what relaxed me.

Seeing them made me realize that I worked for them, not for my bosses. My work is for the community, not for office workers who have never set foot in a writing workshop or anything like it.
Therefore, I had to keep trying.

And that's what relaxed me, and I was able to get home calm. I've never liked bringing work problems home. That's why, when I'm feeling down about something outside of home, I sit alone in a café.
Now, I consider this café the perfect place to de-stress and relax while watching the world go by from the other side of my coffee cup.
