I love the second topic in this week's community contest #259: anime. And if it allows @elviguitarra to see two of the best films in this genre, then that's a prize in itself.
Dear friend @kerrislravenhill, there are so many characters I'd like to mention in this post, it's almost impossible for me to choose just one.
I wish I could say I'm Light, the protagonist of Death Note, for his intelligence and his (dark and radical) sense of justice, or his antagonist: L, also for his superior intellect.
The same would apply to Senku from Dr. Stone, not only because of his intelligence, but also because he can live in a world like the one in the series.
But that's not the case. I identify with his superior intellect, but that's because I wish I were a genius like them, not because I am.
I identify more with shonen. I identify with Ichigo from Bleach, and with Gin from Gintama, for their sometimes childish behaviors, but also for their protective sides and their willingness to sacrifice themselves for their friends.
That absolute loyalty and honesty is something I admire in them and with which I identify.
Also, I love katanas.
However, the anime character I identify with the most is Moritaka, from Bakuman.
Not only because of the romanticism of living forever with the love of his life, but also because of his determination to pursue his dream, to fight and sacrifice even when almost no one believes in him or he lacks the support of his family.
Moritaka isn't a writer, he's the manga artist, but it doesn't matter. The essence, that commitment to being the best, to succeed in the craft he loves, is what I identify with. He bet his future and that of his friend on art, and that's what I'm doing.
That culture of sacrifice, work, and effort is what I identify with in the character. Moritaka's constant dedication and pursuit of improvement with each installment, his self-criticism, and his modesty move me, and sometimes I've been ashamed of being too proud, when I shouldn't have been so complacent and tried harder.
That's why I choose Moritaka as the anime character that best represents me. I could search and choose others, but no. It's Moritaka, from Bakuman; an anime I recommend to anyone who wants to learn about this wonderful world of manga in Japan.

El segundo tema del concurso de la comunidad de esta semana #259 me encanta: el anime. Y si sirve para que @elviguitarra viera dos de las mejores películas de este género, pues ya es un premio de por sí.
Querida amiga @kerrislravenhill, hay tantos personajes que quisiera mencionarte en esta publicación, que casi me es imposible de elegir uno.
Quisiera poder decir que soy Light, el protagonista de Death Note, por su inteligencia y su sentido de la justicia (oscuro y radical), o su antagonista: L, también por ese intelecto superior.
Lo mismo fuera Senku, de Dr Stone, no solo por su inteligencia, sino por poder vivir en un mundo así, como el de la serie.
Pero no es el caso. Me identifico con su intelecto superior, pero es porque quisiera ser un genio como ellos, no porque lo sea.
Si me identifico más con shonens. Me identifico con Ichigo, de Bleach, con Gin, de Gintama, por sus comportamientos infantiles, en ocasiones, pero por sus lados protectores y por ser capaces de sacrificarse por sus amigos.
Esa lealtad absoluta y honestidad es algo que admiro en ellos y con la que me identifico.
Además, me encantan las katanas.
Sin embargo, con el personaje de anime con que más me siento identificado es con Moritaka, de Bakuman.
No solo por aquel romanticismo de vivir para siempre con el amor de su vida, sino por el empeño de ir en pos de su sueño, de luchar y sacrificarse aunque casi nadie crea en él o no tenga el apoyo familiar.
Moritaka no es escritor, es el dibujante de los mangas, pero no importa. La esencia, esa apuesta por ser el mejor, por triunfar en el oficio que ama, es con lo que me identifico. Apostó su futuro y el de su amigo por el arte y es lo que estoy haciendo.
Esa cultura del sacrificio, del trabajo y el esfuerzo, es con lo que me identifico del personaje. La constante entrega y búsqueda de mejorar en cada entrega, la autocrítica, la modestia de Moritaca me emocionan y a veces me he avergonzado de pecar de orgulloso, cuando no debí ser tan conformista y esforzarme más.
Por eso elijo a Moritaka como el personaje de anime que más me representa. Podría buscar y elegir otros, pero no. Es Moritaka, de Bakuman; anime que les recomiendo a todos los que quieran aprender de este maravilloso universo del manga en Japón.
